I went a week ago, it was Stormy but sunny at the same time I forgot to go to central park but there are next times!

It's more than just another park.

 

Since I have been to Bryce, Zion, Canyonlands and The Arches in Utah as well as Mesa Verde, Four Corners and the Grand Canyon, I'm not sure I would put Central Park in that same category. Not to mention that I live on acreage out in the rural area in Florida, I am used to huge, grassy places.

 

However, I would have to say Central Park is impressive. Since it is 843 acres of greenspace in the middle of a densely populated island that sits on a massive rock base, it is more than just another park.

 

My daughter liked that is has a carousel. I liked the numerous street musicians that their playing did not interfere with each other due to the size of the park.

 

We also liked the lake and the fountain, especially since we 'recognized it' because the Lake, Stairs and the fountain have served as a filming location for countless movies and television shows.

 

I guess it all comes down to what you call nice or just another park.
