 yeah just smiling and not saying anything was probably more damaging in the long run.

 

overall,the article is not wrong overall. My aunt is part of like the black (african american) mega chuch in my area. She praises the fact that they give away free food and has a free (at least im hoping free) (secular) Academy for their members, kinda snubbed me when she asked 'if my church had a school' for my son.I didnt want to get intothe whole SKE and pioneer school thing with her, she already doesnt believe no one gets paid to do whht they do in the organization (excluding i guess people that live and work at bethel and gets a stipend). She believes no one is going to do stuff without getting paid. Sad thing is their church does stuff either for their members OR to try to get more members, more members is more money. Going door todoor is something they dont want to do because they dont want to be confused for mormons or witnesses.

 

tbh im noticing especially online (but people can be more aggressive behind a screen) that even saying youre a christian opens up a wave of aggression from people, espscially those that are politically charged. Saying yourea christian essentially means youre pro trump now 😩

what would his goal be though? from googling him it seems his only evil plot would to make a connection between us and trump and even that is a stretch too wild evem for me (he has a book talling about how evangelicals gave birth to trump, and since were the only ones still doing door to door work like evangelicals used to according to his article) 🤷🏾‍♀️
