The net worth of the richest Americans grew by 13 percent in the past year to $1.7 trillion, Forbes magazine said on Wednesday, and a familiar cast of characters once again populated the top of the magazine's annual list of the U.S. uber-elite, including Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Larry Ellison and the Koch brothers.

In Germany we have a similar trend, The rich ones become richer and the number of poor people is increasing.

Last week, there was a headline in the news, that in Germany the richest 10 percent of the private householders owns over 50 percent

of the whole private property.

The social "middle-class" breaks away.

Don't you just wish that these guys could come down to our level a bit more and give some of their funds to help balance the economy? Ah, but then it is not up to mankind even to direct his step. We know things will be smooth sailing once that kingdom is in place.

Actually several on that list have given billions, not millions, to charity. So, just because they are rich does not mean they are not kind people.
