Walk the walk

So in service today this came up in the car group.....is it walk the walk or walk the talk....well I am sure it's walk the walk....lol.....I've never heard of walk the talk......

I've heard of walk the walk and talk the talk.

The elder who said it's walk the talk is from NY...maybe it's a NY thing. I found him saying it to be adorably quaint.

I've always heard both, "He talks the talk and walks the walk", in other words he doesn't just say what he's suppose to, he also does what he is suppose to do.

Ha! Coincidentally, that phrase was mentioned at our public talk today. Our speaker used it in the sense of not just talking the talk, but walking the walk. (as was already mentioned.) I just love coincidences!
