Although the girl featured in this article is not a JW, my soon to be 11 yr old son, Michael (Bob he is the one you met at the DC), was good friends with this girl. According to my son, she was bullied pretty good at school

11 year old girl commits suicide due to bullying

Administrators at London City Schools are cooperating with local law enforcement to investigate the death of 11-year-old Hailey Petee.

The fifth-grade student at London Elementary School was found dead in her home early Sunday — the apparent victim of a suicide.

“We’re investigating all aspects of the incident,” said London Police Chief Dave Wiseman. “We want to know what actually happened.”

That is very sad and another reminder of how INSANE this world is.

I appreciated the reminder in the article to talk to our children about bullying and suicide. Many are thinking about it and some "impulse" could cause them to "try" it.

Able, Paul, and all of us are bullied due to our love for Jehovah but we can over come this with love of Jehovah and Jesus and they can't be bullied. If we remember that it's mere dust that taunts us and the most powerful being in the universe has our back as long as were loyal, we will not only survive but will get stronger.

My husband's cousin had his son do the same thing in 2011 because of bullying. How awful that there are so many mean and hateful children doing this to others.
