146313=8042-c10.jpg The Beaches are starting to clean up. We took a trip out to Rainbow beach, Just short of Fraser Island. It was like looking at Jehovah's beautiful artwork. Strokes of sand this way and that way. Some cliffs looked like they were made from Cookies & cream. Just the textures throughout. we did a great load more of 4WD, the only way to access them. & the surf is continuous. So mezzmarising.

"It's a known fact that eighty decibels of rushing water is one of the most pleasing sounds known to mankind. On other hand, ten and a half days at sea is enough water for anybody."

146317=8049-c9.jpg There is like about 8 different tones in the sands. Slippery to drive on. You canonly go about 40ks. Sorry don't know it in miles. But you could see with the reflections of the ocean and the sun why it is called Rainbow beach. There is another beach attached for camping on called Cooloola.:boating:
