Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner says she has asked for the Pope's intervention in the Falklands dispute between her country and the UK.

When the Falklands Islands was just a few British people living on a green mound with penguins and heaps of rotting seaweed, Argentina weren't all that interested, but when UK started looking for oil around there they became very interested! Same land grabbing/flag planting attempts are going on in Antarctica between more countries wanting to exploit it's hidden wealth. Falklands war involvement:France denied deliveries of Exocet AM39s purchased by Peru to avoid the possibility of Peru giving them to Argentina, because they knew that payment would be made with a Credit card from the Central Bank of Peru, but British intelligence had detected that the guarantee was a deposit of two hundred million dollars from the Banco Ambrosiano Andino, an owned subsidiary of the Banco Ambrosiano.

Mr. Calvi is said to have become increasingly involved with suspected underworld figures as his needs for ready cash increased as his bank fell into more debt. There are also rumors that he lent Peru $200 million to buy Exocet missiles for the Argentine forces during the Falkland war and thus became a target for the British secret service.

Gelli seems to have been involved in the missile negotiations while "God's Banker" Calvi was to negotiate the money transfer.

1982 -Roberto Calvi of the Banco Ambrosiano/branch of the Vatican bank was the man to clear the transfer of money for the Exocet Missiles from Argentina to the bank. it was intercepted by British Intelligence who had been watching Gelli and Calvi. Calvi's sectretary committed suicide. Calvi was found hanging under a London Bridge with pockets full of money and bricks which forensics showed he had never touched.(See: Roberto Calvi, in Wikipaedia) Various theories of who killed him and made it look like suicide have run around since.

Wow! Thanks for sharing that info about the Vatican, it's bank and various governments. Whenever I read stuff Iike this, I think about the Daniel book's discussion of political intrigue after the death of Alexander the Great. Wasn't it Solomon who said there's "nothing new under the sun"? Politics is truly demonic. They make up stories for movies, books and television, but none of those imaginary stories can beat what humans really do in the name of money, power and politics. The fact that the politicians (under demonic influence) are able to get their citizens to go along, support and deny what they see with their own eyes never ceases to amaze me. Satan truly has their minds blinded on so many levels.

Those books you referenced sound really interesting. I would love to read them myself. Maybe I can find them on Audible or something.
