I just noticed that, starting with the August 2013 Simplified WT, It's available to download in jw.org in mp3 format. I love it.

How wonderful! I was helping an inactive unbaptized publisher from Nigeria who could barely read. I bought him a portable DVD player and would download the recordings of the publications onto a memory stick. He used those recordings for all his meeting preparation and personal study.

 

However, can you imagine how much of a challenge it was for him to listen to the recording of the normal Watchtower while trying to study the simplified edition? I can only imagine how many brothers and sisters will benefit enormously from these new recordings! Jehovah's organization thinks of everything!

This is really neat. I don't use the Simplified myself, but my family likes it.

 

I'd like to create a Study Edition that has the regular and simplified side by side on my tablet screen. That would be cool.
