What r u eating and drinking? Good or Bad

Recommended Posts

Am not sure, but since this is the food section maybe this can go in here.   This was on the news this morning.  Warnings on what we eat (perhaps some of us unwittingly)

The shocking list of foods readily available in US grocery stores that are BANNED in other countries for containing dangerous chemicals
  • In Singapore, you can get sentenced to 15 years in prison and a $500,000 fine for using a chemical in food products that's common in frozen dinners
  • Mtn Dew and products used to keep carpets from catching on fire are made from the same chemical
  • A chemical found in Chex Mix is known to cause cancer in rats

Yeah, it's disgusting what they are doing to food.

We eat almost no processed food and I make almost everything from scratch. But it's almost a full time job just to keep your family fed this way, lol. And nowadays not many can take the time for that.

I allow that 'garbage' occasionally. Like for example at a get together the kids can have some soda, but I never buy it.

If you don't compromise on some level, you will make yourself crazy. In this system not many can be able to eat truly 100% healthy.

But everybody should be informed and try to include healthy foods in our diet and eliminate some of the really bad. We owe that to ourselves and the one who created our awesome bodies, Jehovah.

I remember a show on TV about Diet Coke and Coke.  They said that in the factory where the Diet Coke is made that the workers must wear protective gear (haz-mat gear) yet in the Coke part they do not have to take the same precautions. If I remember right the chemical used that was so dangerous was what they preserve organs in for science and for autopsy's.  I do remember seeing in nursing school the teacher poured a bottle of diet coke over a roast beef and when we came back the next day the meat was deteriorating.

Don"t tell Jerry about the Dew. LoLs..

I love my Coke its the one drink when Its been a hot day. I find refreshing.

I have observed on several occasions If I feed MCdonalds food or Hungary J's to the kids they are like up the walls & it won't matter how many times you say stay with you etc.

Even certain types of Candy, Or cordial. They are now reserved for the odd treat.
