If three-quarters of that number turn out for field service when the congregation works the territory as a congregation and not in different FSG, how many minutes would it take the captain to pair everyone? Yes, but our congregation meets as a congregation on the first and last Sundays. That's what I am talking about. Sorry for not clarifying it. On the second and third Sundays, the groups go to their individual territories.

Our congregation faces a significant challenge. Despite the encouraging turnout for our Sunday field service, manually pairing publishers and pioneers takes up to 30-45 minutes. This inefficiency hampers our ability to spend more time in the field, where our efforts are most needed. Therefore, I believe it's crucial to explore the possibility of implementing a software solution to streamline this process. First, the congregation members in each field service group would be told to indicate their availability for Sunday field service, including the time they intend to close, either in the app or with their field service group overseer. With this information, the software would have to assign publishers to territories mapped out for that Sunday on these criteria: Pair publishers with the same closing time together. Assign weights to publishers so that more mature publishers will work with inexperienced publishers. Monitor the frequency of publisher A and B working together to expand their collaborations with others. Weights: if on field service days: pioneers + elders > auxiliary pioneers > older publishers > younger publishers > inactive or irregular ones being revived. So, pioneers and elders have more weight and should be working with inactive ones, but this is not a rule fixed in stone. After the pairing, the software will then send notices of the pairing to the service overseer who will go through it and make any adjustments like for publishers without a pair, etc. Then he would send to the field service group overseers and each indicated publisher to their whatsapp numbers or SMS number. There are more features I have in mind but this is just a blueprint. I wonder if any JW software feature has this capability right now? Thanks

I reinstalled JW library after resetting the android phone to factory default. That means no cache, no miscellaneous files; in fact a clean phone. After installing the app, it was noticed that JW library did not install completely. I tried the suggestions found here: https://jwtalk.net/forums/topic/34301-jw-library-not-updating-problem/ but it was no help. In the publications, only the books, brochures and booklets, and tracts sections appear. All others are missing. The books in books section are not complete even. Has anyone encountered and solved this problem? Thanks in advance

Many brothers and sisters have been giving me their android phones telling me that their JW Library doesn't update to the latest publications and literature. Things I have done but not a solution: 1. Updated the app on play store. 2. Cleaned the cache. 3. Freed up storage space to have more storage. 4. Android phone OS is higher than 4.0 5. Finally, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. All these actions didn't solve the problem. This is not an isolated case. Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance.

Have you logged onto Watchtower Online Library (WOL) recently? You will notice that on the home page, there is information on several new sign languages added to the library. It made me feel intrigued, enamoured with the Governing Body. They are surely working very hard to get the good news to everyone. The different sign language videos are very high quality. May Jehovah continue to bless their efforts along with that of the thousands of bethelites and remote translators scattered all over the globe.

The question is not "How would you improve it"? But "Do you really need it"? There are millions of pictures the organization publishes yearly. Are you going to include all of them and add stress to my reading space? Please show love and understanding.

I use an iPad with Safari browser. I just opened JW broadcasting page and it opened fine. Could be from your iPad itself. Maybe memory issues. Can you close the safari browser and then open it later? Do other websites load on the Safari? Those are questions you can look at.

Since I discovered jwtalk.net, this forum, in September 2016, I have never had the desire or inclination to even visit Facebook. Wasn't that awesome? It was for me. I now hang out with spiritually minded persons and engage in wholesome discussions. And less visual stress. It was so easy to do.

I prefer the video screen. It saves me the pain of bending my neck now and then while singing. Furthermore, the video screen makes the singing interactive, somewhat fun.

I looked up indoctrinate in Merriam Webster's dictionary and these are its synonyms: Synonyms: educate, teach, instruct, lesson, school, train, tutor. And that's what everyone does; not only the Jehovah's witnesses. Isn't that interesting!
