Weta was still alive. Just popped him back in the tree. We have loads of them here. They live in the flax. I have to say though, the one that crawled into my brothers jeans probably died ... he didn't know it was in there until he put them on. We have to check our shoes regularly too about this time of year. They look for shelter from the heat. The birds would kill more than our cat does or has. -

In Brazil, arboviruses are pretty common. I’ve had Dengue type 1 (the one that doesn’t cause bleeding) and Zika... and let me tell you, these diseases are awful. Dengue usually knocks you out for days with full-body pain and a fever that won’t go down, and taking meds like Aspirin or Ibuprofen can even kill you. Zika, on the other hand, causes joint pain—it feels like you have arthritis. And if women catch Zika while pregnant, their babies are often born with a condition called microcephaly. -
