Just A Question...And A Personal Thought

The question: What personal private thoughts about the new system would you be willing to unveil and share with all here on this site? It can be anything, it doesn't have to be "cool" or "inspiring", I am just genuinely curious to see how much time my brothers and sisters spend thinking about the new world.

I often find myself daydreaming about it, I sometimes imagine that the Bible is my personal "tourist guide", so to speak. I try to picture in my mind's eye the landscape, the flora and fauna...I try to envision myself there...sitting in the warm sunshine holding my wife and enjoying the company of all of you...and the rest of Jehovah's clean society.

I look at the qualities that I find in the Bible...love, humility, kindness, joy...I could go on and on.

When I am in that place mentally...I can almost feel Jehovah's arms start to wrap around me...it's like he's thanking me for taking time to think about Him and his promises. I do not reveal this to many people, not because I'm ashamed of it...but because I feel it makes others ashamed if they cannot experience the same thing...and I do not want to see anyone feel sad because of something I expressed.

I will sometimes sit back early in the morning on weekends and listen to gentle music with my eyes closed...letting my thoughts drift with the pulse of the rhythms. I don't get to do this often, but every single time I do...it helps me mentally and emotionally. (Yes, sometimes I fall asleep, but that's okay too, I wake up feeling refreshed😂).

So, now that I have asked my question...I will share a personal thought that I had about the new system...and especially about one particular facet of it.

Every year, we watch spring turn into summer, we watch the trees, flowers and other plants blossom and bloom...we watch as things turn from green to brilliant shades of red, orange and yellow before slowly fading into brown and dropping from plants of all shapes and sizes.

We notice these things because they happen every year, and we live for maybe 100 years...for now.

But in the new system...we will live...forever...and so even though we will probably never stop noticing the change of seasons...other changes will start to enter our minds and our viewpoints will start to expand and widen.

For instance, please consider Isaiah 65:22: "They will not build for someone else to inhabit, Nor will they plant for others to eat. For the days of my people will be like the days of a tree, And the work of their hands my chosen ones will enjoy to the full."

From this single verse, after meditating on it for some time...I came to the following conclusion that left me nearly speechless: Just as we watch the grass turn green and grow until we have to cut it in our yards...so too, at that time...we will watch entire forests arise around us...and we will eventually have to cut them down only to watch them grow for several more thousand years.

So please, friends...if you would like to share a personal thought or more of your own...please do so...because I firmly believe in the power of personal expressions...they have the power to move us...and more importantly...such expressions can move even Jehovah, his Son and the millions upon millions of angels watching us with keen interest.

I sincerely thank everyone for all their heartfelt comments, it just goes to show how much and how deeply we all feel about this subject...and how each of us has our own intimate thoughts about the new system. Jehovah appreciates this kind of thinking, it affects him deeply. Thanks again to all how have shared so far!

At certain times of the year, I get calls from telemarketers several times a day.  One specifically is trying to get me to sign up for a Medicare Advantage plan.  I have regular Medicare for my primary insurance and a very good private policy to take care of co-pays and other extra charges.  My prescription is not government but private so I can use coupons for discounts on certain drugs.  Instead of paying $700.00 per month I get the prescriptions for a $10.00 to $30.00 copay.  I do not want a Medicare Advantage plan.  In the future I will not be bothered by these nuisance calls.

Every day we ingest enough micro-bits of plastic to make a credit card.  These micro-bits are too small for the eye to see, but they can get into our cells and damage them.  Try to stop using any plastic.  In today's world it isn't possible.  I have medicine I have to take that comes in plastic bottles.  Water bottles and garbage bags are all problems that we have to put up with.  In the future we will not be doing damage with the plastic we use today.

Excess CO2 in the atmosphere causes global warming.  If Satan can't rule the earth, he will be happy just to ruin it for human habitation.  and the governments (for the most part) go right along with him.  In paradise CO2 levels in the atmosphere will be in the proper balance.

After Armageddon, I can throw away my CPAP machine (sleep apnea), my heart monitor (that works by getting signals from my pacemaker and send to the cardiologist.), all the medicine (prescription and supplements), my walking cane (spondylosis will be gone), income tax records, insurance forms, appliance warranties, insurance cards (auto, home, and health), credit cards, driver's license, wills and trusts, etc., etc., etc.

I won't have to worry about doctors, dentists, hospitals, etc.   I will never hear a siren again (ambulances, fire engines, or police cars), never worry about speeding drivers and auto accidents.

I, along with everyone else alive then, will have perfect health.

There will always be new places to visit.  Plate tectonics will change the landscape over millennia.   Erosion will constantly be making changes to the terrain.  Lave flow from the bottom will create new island to visit.  Always something new to see.  And it will al be beautiful.

So much more that could be said.  The possibilities for the new system is more than we can imagine

That is an incredible comment!!

It's also very true!

Even though our eternal lives are in Jehovah's hands, we entrust our current lives to medications and health care professionals who sometimes are just throwing darts at a wall, hoping to cure or fix what's wrong with you, however temporarily it may be.

How awesome it will be when we can simply turn over all thoughts of our future health to Jehovah and put it in his hands.

Jehovah never designed us to get sick and die, it's simply wasn't programmed into our DNA. How nice it will be when everything is restored to its original purpose, and all thoughts and feelings of ill health will be gone forever!

Because my minds eye doesn't work ... I've attacked this a little differently I've done a floor plan of three rooms in my new house, Jehovah willing of course ...I don't want to be greedy.

My kitchen: Really thick concrete walls with large window sills... an inset for my Agar... a stove that works on firewood, gas or electric. I've always wanted one. A big utility room so my kitchen looks tidy all the time. Hehe. And huge glass walls that slide into the side wall that gives you the inside outside feel, and that will be Tom's kitchen out there with pizza oven, BBQ etc. It will have a tiered herb garden and a table that could seat many.

My other room I've designed is a pentagon made of glass and in the middle is my grand piano. These too will open up so we can play with other instruments.

(Have to say I'm a bit disappointed that pictures of paradise only picture instruments like a violin or guitar never a grand piano!!! 😄 🤣).

My theme for my house is trees ... like the tree of life. See pictures below for inspiration.

You all invited. Our home is yours.

My home is simple - kind of like a tiny house but have a separate building will be a auditorium that will sit 250, a snack bar area , separate dining area , big stage so we can have musical instruments ( full grand piano - Steinway ), harp ,drums set , plenty of room for the Watchtower Chorus and the New World Chorus and the Childrens Chorus. A whole lot of FUN - New World Broadcasting

My first post had to do with things I would like to get rid of as soon as possible.  I thought it might be right to post about positive things that can be done in paradise.

My home is simple and yet complicated.  Starting from the ground up.  My house would have a heating system powered by the sun.  Solar thermal collectors heated by the sun and the heat can be stored until needed.   A large tank in the ground will store the heat (water or some other storage medium) for use as needed.  Pipes will be run in the floor to gently heat the home. Radiant floor heating is in wide use today.  It is far more comfortable than forced air heating. The entire house will be warmed this way, no matter how many floors it has.

Cooling in hot weather and refrigeration to store food can be accomplished by an absorption refrigeration system. The house will be built in such a way so as to provide some natural air conditioning.

See my post in the topic "What Power in Paradise" to see the many ideas for clean energy that are available!

I want a bedroom to sleep, but I would also have a hammock outside to sleep in on nice nights.  The bedroom would not have to be large and there would not be a television set or any video device in the bedroom.  The bedroom would be for sleeping only, so that my body would be trained to go to bed and go to sleep quickly.  When I am fully awake, I will get up.  My body will know that bed means sleep!

I would have an area for food and cooking.  Storage will not have to include a drawer for medicines.  There will be spaces for all kind of fruit, maybe eggs and certain items.  There will be no processed foods in this area.  Cooking will be done by inversion cooktop.  No need to heat the house unnecessarily and add poisonous gases to the air by burning gas.  Inversion takes less electricity because instead of heating an eye that transfers heat to a pot or pan, the metal in the cooking utensil is heated directly.  Inversion is the fastest, safest, and cleanest way to cook food.

Windows in my house will be infinitely adjustable from tonally transparent, through vrious degrees of translucence, to completely opaque. The transparent aluminum in Star Trek may not actually be possible, but there are glass windows that can be coated with certain metals that would be adjustable by an electric current.  A simple slide switch can control, the degree of transparency just as some switches are used today as dimmers for lights.

I would like a living area both inside and outside the house.  A living/cooking area outside would allow enjoying the outdoors on a nice day.  It would be good to be outdoors on a nice day.  My outdoor porch would probably wrap all the way around the house.  Any door I choose to go out I will have a small porch.  The roof on my porch may be made from a infinitely adjustable material just as the windows in my house.

Solar photovoltaic cells and possibly windmills (and other means of producing electricity) will provide electricity, not to be stored in batteries, but to produce hydrogen to be compressed and stored in large(?) tanks.  The hydrogen can then be used in fuel cells to produce electricity for the home as needed or transferred to vehicles that use hydrogen fuel cells to power an electric engine.  The electrical needs will be greatly reduced by using the sun to heat and cool the house.  Estimates I have read are that around 2/3s (or more) of the electricity used today is for heating and cooling the house and hot water and refrigeration.  Removing these energy hogs will vastly reduce energy requirements.

There will be no waste.  When we peel some fruit, the peeling and the core can be put into a compost bin.   Any leftover food can be put into compost and provide fertilizer for plants.

We can have a community around us with a large fruit orchard and large garden area.  Everyone contributes and everyone gets the gets the rewards.  We could also have a small personal area for fruit trees and garden area for our special wants, although I think the community fruit orchard and garden will probable provide everything we need.

Transportation will be nonpolluting.  In the post I mentioned earlier there were pedal powered vehicles as well as vehicles powered by various nonpolluting means.  Of course, walking will be fine for short distances.

If I misunderstood the topic, all of this might be off topic.  I hope I got the right understanding of the topic.  If this is off topic, I apologize.
