As I read the account of the new COBE among us, and my statement, “Jehovah knows best”.
Long ago, when we had the CO, and the DO, and, rarely they would visit our congregation, well, there they were. And, we were meeting for service. Me, shaking in my boots, thinks, if I go alone, I will get put in a car with one of them. My smart solution, ask someone to go with you, that day. Two of us. I relax, and off I go.
Well, I got taken care of, good and proper. Me and my partner were assigned in a car group with, yep, the DO, and the CO!
I thought different in those days. Now I take the CO’s wife on calls with me. (Um, used too)
We have a small congregation, and, it is our privilege to get to work with the CO, his wife, and, elders on a regular basis.
But, I still laugh at how Jehovah showed me who was in charge, long ago.
I love our little congregation. Jehovah has absolutely been there for us. It’s a marvel when you see it with your own eyes!

Sisters, I don’t know about you, but, I’m 76 and have nice heels for the meetings. I put on a pair the other day, and, I don’t know. My days of heels may just be gone. I’ve been sort of careful, because I knew I was pushing it anyway.
If this is so, it will be a whole new world for me, when and if, we get back to the hall.
In the meantime, um, shhhh. Barefoot is just wonderful. At the hall, if I could, I’d be barefoot. (I do have shoes right next to me. For the meeting. But...)
There’s a gal, Rihanna Geddings, a singer. She was on stage, “dressed to the nines”, and, barefoot. My kind of dressing up. Country and western singer, and, sort of blues.
Barefoot Indians. My good friend said something derogatory about such. That is fine. If I have a choice, it will always be barefoot!
