No it is not too much to ask and it is always possible. However, that is not what the available evidence indicates. It points very firmly that some animals survived locally while most did not. That leaves us with two choices, either there was a lot of divine intervention both before and after the flood, or Noah was writing from his own point of view as he saw things and he was understandably unaware of a few animals surviving outside the ark. I like to consider both possibilities since interpretations of scripture sometimes change in light of scientific evidence as in the length of the creative days and the events that took place on each day.

Your theory is very believable for domestic animals but makes no sense for wild animals. Why would any one in primitive time go to the trouble of moving large numbers of animals that would not be of much help and yet not transport any domesticated animals? The early Australians had no domesticated animals.I don't believe they were selflessly following a divine command since they were traveling because their language had been changed because they had refused to obey Jehovah's commands. Those who were faithful did not have their language changed and lived in the middle east.

For this difference in animals to exist both before the flood and after, requires either local survival or divine intervention in post flood animal distrabution.

Dinosaurs went extinct 65 million years ago, so they and many others were extinct by the time of the flood. Most of the animals in the fossil record were extinct before the flood occurred. In Australia and New Zealand, quite a number of animals also went extinct. Yet some survived. I believe it was local survival of a few smaller animals that managed to survive somehow. Or perhaps a few corners had to cut to get a basic sampling of animals in the ark and there just wasn't room for the bigger ones?

All air breathing animals still on the land surface died when the flood waters covered the land. From Noah's point of view, only what was with him in the ark survived, but as we know, some tbings did survive outside tge ark like whales. My opionon is that just as marine animals survived outside the ark, other animals may have as well, perhaps living on floating vegetation or seeking refuge on glaciers. It seems to be the only natural explanation for the survival of animals that should not have survived like the isolated animals in Australia and other far off places. The other possibility is divine action, but if it was by God's power, why did only a few of the many preflood animals in those areas survive?

The Bible doesn’t define what a kind is, if it is indeed animals that can breed, then the kinds have change over time. Since the kinds Jehovah created over time gave rise to difference kinds that could no longer breed. Many animals went extinct while new ones were bred into extistance. Over time there have been great changes in the animals living on earth. The dinosaurs once dominated but now are gone, their kind or kinds disappeared. it is also clear that not all animals were in the Ark. Fish and marine mammals obviously were not on the ark. Then there is the case of the unique animals in Australia that only existed there and also only existed there before the flood. How did they get to the ark and back, without ending up anywhere else? There was a massive extinction event there at the time of the flood. It appears to me that a few animals may have survived by rafting. My thought is that some land animals survived here and there around the world by rafting or climbing on to glaciers. Local survival of some animals would explain some of the patterns seen in the Pleistocene extinct event where smaller animals had a better chance of surviving. There probably were fewer animals on the ark than many people think.

I wish that we as an orgization were completely free of any case of sexual abuse, but that is not realistic considering the world around us and human weakness. What was reported in the article of course is just the very smallest part of what is going on in the Baptist Church. Studies have shown that there is no difference in morals between nominal Christians and non-Christians, in fact if anything the so called Christians score lower with higher rates of divorce. The baptists according to what people say, many who are baptists themselves, makes it sound like the baptists are a bunch of swingers (people with loose morals). This reputation is the complete opposite of the devout holy God fearing apperence baptists like to show, but it is for many just a show. The reason for this huge difference between appearance and reality is due to hypocrisy, saying one thing but doing another, Christian in name only. The level of hypocrisy is perhaps best illustrated by the old joke. If you take a Baptist fishing he will drink all your beer, but if you take two, they don’t drink any. The level of Baptist hypocrisy is so great and well known that it is literally a joke. This is is one of the differences between the Truth and false religion, practicing what you preach. All of us have to toe the line and hold fast to God’s standards or we are in danger of making the Truth look like the Baptist Church. Our faithfully holding to Bible principles and the elder arrangement for removing the unrepentant, along with the Holy Spirit, is all that keeps us from becoming a Baptist Church look-a-like. As the world continues to degenerate and the Churches follow them, we will come under increasing moral pressure. If we hold fast, the light of the Truth will shine bright in a morally darkened world.

The fact there are no aliens has always been obvious since Jesus had to demonstrate faithfulness under test, which would have been redundant if there were others out there. If there were other civilizations out there, they would have been pass the Adam and Eve stage, and the thought that they all failed is not reasonable. Since the earth is given to the sons of man and the heavens belong to Jehovah, there is no place left for aliens.

Since it is becoming increasingly clear that the warming is causing some of the recent events, it is indeed causing or at least intensifying some of the signs. For proof see the NASA webpage on evidence of global climate change. you are certainly entitled to your own opinion, but you should be aware of what the available evidence is telling us.

Here is an article from three years ago on Antarctic gaining ice, notice that even then it was viewed with great doubt. Ice mass in Antartica is shrinking. Yes I am very aware of the methane in the artic, it is a "bomb" waiting to go off.

You do speak words of wisdom my sister. You should have seen the first draft of my post. I really tried to tone it down as much as I could, but perhaps I should have done a better job. I will point out that our brother has taken a position in the debate and I believe he has done so without examining the evidence. I very much respect his right to make up his own mind and pointed out that one of my brothers has the same opinion as he has. But the fact remains that the evidence of human caused global warming is undeniable. It is a matter of scientific fact extremely well supported by the evidence. I respect his right to his own opinion and certainly don't expect him to take my word for it, which is why I included the link to the NASA webpage on the evidence for global climate change. I wanted him to read the evidence for him self in hopes that he would reevaluate his opionon on the matter, and I let him know I would respect his view even if he decides against it. I should also mention that when I refer to climate change as being a fact or undeniable, I am not expressing my opinion, I am merely stating what the scientific position is on the matter. Please read the NASA webpage on the evidence. I am not overly worried about climate change and see it as a transition to the coming paradise. I expect the change to be quite difficult, but the resulting climate optimum controlled by Jehovah will be fantastic. I do think it would be better if as witnessses we are not caught up in the world's deceptions that everything is fine in the world when tbe evidence is very clear that that is not the case. Body language is subjective and can be easily misunderstood as many have already pointed out. What I find much more reliable is the involuntary muscles around the eyes. A fake smile doesn't reach the eyes, while a real smile does. This is why actors do method acting where they focus or imagine happy things to create a real smile that reaches the eyes. Most people are not that good of actors, even most actors aren't, so the eyes often tell more than people realize. The reverse is true too, when people think of something funny in the middle of the meeting, they might not smile or laugh, but their eyes light up. I know sometimes we have a very serious talk, and something makes me want to laugh, perhaps an exaggerated look of seriousness on the speaker's face and I am struggling not to laugh or smile, but I know my eyes are giving me away. Perhaps that is why the eyes are called windows into the soul.

No, I am not. As we get closer to Armageddon, we will see the "impossible" happen with alarming increasing frequency. I just hope that massive sealevel rise will not be one of them.
