I can't post anywhere but here so here I go lol

I have been dropping hints to my wife I want an Ipad for our anniversary :D

Anyways, I want to use this for all the meetings but if I do, how do I get the KM on it as an epub?

Unfortuantely, the branch only puts them out as KM - to the elders.

If you ask the elders for a PDF version - they should give it to you.

Once you have thePDF, you will need to convert it to an epub file yourself. That is a lot of work - if you want links to verses and stuff.

Have you ever used iSilo?

No but have heard of it.  I have to get the Ipad first mate!  lol!

I knew they didn't have it on jw.org.  I could scan the hardcopy, etc.  Sounds like alot of work though.

Do you personally look up the scriptures on the Ipad or still use the actual bible?  I know they told us when reading or on the podium to use the publications.

Yes, the branch did send a letter out to the elders that gave the instruction you mention about NOT using them on the platform.

There is a nice topic about this in the "Stuff of Interest to Jehovah's Wintesses" forum - http://jwtalk.net/forums/topic/9909-do-you-use-tablets-at-meetings/

Please, ask it again there. I would like to make sure you can post there also.

Love using my iPad but I don't have the song book with links that someone mentioned nor do I get the KM from an elder.

I always use the Bible along with it.
