Australian Election

Recommended Posts

Yes I am glad its over. Elections are not fun,

But this time out preaching. never before Had I had so many discussions in the Ministry.

The people in my area were worried about the next guy who would become the next PM>

I wont say his name.

But they were worried about jobs. the future & definitely the boat people is a huge topic.

I asked them on election day who would they vote for, everyone shock their heads.

No one they say, I place 2 What does the Bible really teach books. & One return visit said he had served time in Federal gaol

and he never voted. Wouldn't trust any man he said. After 8weeks are up. Am looking forward to going back.

Even my new neighbor they are both keen.

He works in the mines and she is aboriginal. Her father was from the stolen generation.

They ask so many questions.

Was amazing. then they wanted to know more. So on Friday we went over. to be friendly they ask questions about how can you tell who is from the right religion etc.

I say have they seen our website. No. Do you want me to show you how to use it. Since they have a son 2yrs old the kids videos are etc,

Yes please they say. & Ok. which book would you like to be downloaded or would you like me to bring you the actual book.

She says yes please.

I had to duck away to home. I grabbed a few mags on the topics we talked about.

She says yes to all 5. I go to the meeting get the Gold nugget. She says yes.

Ok she says I am sorry I am probably going to have loads of questions. No problems I say. Bring them on.

I say I wont be able to leave the home for next month. thats ok she will come over.

I am praying for a study.

The ministry has been a buzz lately. People are tired of the conflicts in the world. & feel no security with jobs. &  many promises are broken.

My new saying is now Vote for Jehovah & Jesus.

"It's a known fact that eighty decibels of rushing water is one of the most pleasing sounds known to mankind. On other hand, ten and a half days at sea is enough water for anybody."

The Australian election is now over.

One of the big issues was illegal immigration.  Official sources put the figure at about 60,000.

Aboriginal sources put the figure at about 22.5 million!

"This is funny. The native people in this country might share similar thoughts. However, as a native person, I will be so thankful when political boarders no longer exist. Sort of heart breaking, if you ask me."

I want to age without sharp corners, and have an obedient heart!
