Languages (What other languages can you speak?)

Recommended Posts

We have lots of brothers and sisters here that are from different countries and I think are doing better with english than most Americans.

I am curious... What other languages can you all speak???

Me: English, sign language, and a lil bit of spanish.

I have a suggestion as well... I would LOVE to hear a recording from our foreign brothers and sisters, if possible, just saying Jehovah in their language.

English for me. I can speak a bit of Spanish, and I understand some Spanish, but not enough to have a major conversation with someone. We also learned a presentation in Vietnamese, that's all I can do though is the presentation, lol. Vietnamese is the 3rd largest language group where I live after English and Spanish.

I would be about the same. Primary language is English, and then I know a little German, Spanish, and American Sign Language. Emphasis on a little.

I know Malayalam, Tamil and English. Also little bit Hindi. Some brothers here know more than 10 languages. :perplexed:

Assamese · Bengali · Bodo · Chhattisgarhi · Dogri · Garo · Gujarati · Standard Hindi · Kannada · Kashmiri · Khasi · Kokborok · Konkani · Maithili · Malayalam · Manipuri · Marathi · Mizo · Nepali · Oriya · Punjabi · Sanskrit · Santali · Sindhi · Telugu · Tamil · Urdu are the official regional languages in my country. Most states have its own language:cowboy:

Australian English but I can make myself understood to non-English speakers like Americans... Just joking! :D:whistling:

I can also understand Scots (particularly Glaswegian) and speak a little as well as a tiny bit of Old English (mostly West Saxon, I am still learning). I can read some Koine Greek, as well as Classical Latin, Spanish, French, and German - but only a very little of these latter.

I speak German (and here Jehova in German: http://vocaroo.com/?media=vYtdCq6IUGdzgzbwW) as I am from Austria and learned English in school. I love to read books in English and I'm quite in understanding spoken word, but sometimes it's hard to write or talk in an foreign language. I also speak some French, but only studied it for two years.

English, and a little American Sign Language, Spanish, French, and Japanese. My x hubby was in the Air Force and we were stationed on Okinawa, Japan for 3 years. In fact that where I found the Truth, through Missionaries Penny and Wayne Frazee. (they were in one of the Yearbooks)

i spreakit the english, a little sign language. i can also say a few phrases in spanish, french, greek, korean, japanese, chinese. im always looking at new languages, simple phrases to meet and greet and establish if they can speak any english at all and if not i direct to the multilanguage book we are meant to utilise. im going to get a translator for witnessing, so its a little easier.

Seems like none of them are working right now. Maybe Vocaroo will get it fixed soon.
