Home from my Trip South for Summer!

Yup - got back yesterday from driving holiday south as far as Brisbane.

 

Did a lot and saw a lot of people.

 

Today it's currently 36 Celsius (95 F) - yikes !!!!!!

Nothing's moving, no one's outside - the dogs even refuse to go out.

 

OK - back to my trip.

Been away 1.5 weeks.

First day drove for 12.5 hours to Bundaberg to visit Lyn.

I took Buddy with me for company - he slept the whole way.

 

Caught up with friends while at Lyn's and saw the newly painted Kingdom Hall.

SO toned down!

It used to be all the colours of the rainbow.

Now it's - sorry - but looks so plain.

I took a photo of the new hall to compare with the old one.

 

Also met a couple from Saskatchewan who were visiting as well.

 

Thankfully, no floods this year!

Will post photos when I find my camera !!!

If I send you some of our chill then we both will be more comfortable. It is going down to -20C tonight with a wind chill. Currently it is only -17C with wind chill of -26C. Out in Winterpeg - err Winnipeg it was a balmy -30 C

yesterday -it has been cooler. -just right for a little walk outside.
