Yes, though this seems even faster - I don't remember the USSR and the Bloc falling quite this fast. But then there is a claim from a former KGB spy who defected in the 70s that it may have been planned well ahead whereas Egypt at least has had only three years of planning and did not have an entity like the government of the USSR controlling its collapse.

This is indeed very interesting I am glued to the tv !! there is talk that there will be change throughout the Arab nations.....

Well it looks like any noise made in Jordan was just that - noise. The "Arab Spring" looks to be winding up in Libya and fizzling out in Syria. It looks to be mostly a Northern African "Spring".
