In Tamil nadu ( southern India).It's famous for textile towels, lungies(a night bottom dress worn by the male community in India, and turmeric.

Some designs can be written by males too but the fabric is more suited for females.if we change the fabric, then it will look good too.Also we sometimes use the same fabric and designs for screens and and bedspread and pillow covers too.

My sisters all like to sew too. We have all sewed professionally but no longer. We tease each other that we'll be sewing underwear. I have lost my love of sewing, I think because of getting older, but it's a deal. Where should we meet?
