Oh if only. ;)

The invitation to Rome for President Peres of Israel and the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is an intriguing development, at a time when negotiations have collapsed. The Pope's spokesman said it was a papal peace initiative,  based on the Pope's  moral and spiritual authority.

Both accepted the invitation.

These are interesting developments, and only time will show where they may lead. I am currently reading a

book entitled " Chronicles of the "Unholy Fathers", which traces the story of the so-called Popes from their

first "claimed" Pope Peter, down until John Paul II ( this book was published in 2001 and Benedict did not

become Pope until 2005 ). Interestingly the author ( R. W. Roland ) says concerning John Paul II under the

heading " Holy Alliance": " Time magazine featured on their front cover - Holy alliance. 'President Reagan and

Pope John Paul regarded U.S.-Vatican relationship as a holy alliance. The moral force of the Pope and the anti-

communist teachings of the church, combined with American democracy, to achieve their goals. the key players

were all devout Roman Catholics - C.I.A. chief, William Casey, Allen, Clark, Haig, Walters and  Wilson,

Reagan's first ambassador to the Vatican....Inside Poland, a network of priests carried messages back and

forth to many of the churches where Solidarities leaders were hiding."  February 24, 1992  ( pg. 342, 343 )

This book also states: " Former leader of the U.S.S.R. Mikhail Gorbachev credited the Pope's involvement in

politics as a major contributing factor in the collapse of communism in Eastern Europe during the later

1980s. ( pg. 342 )

Thus we have another example of one of the Chief representatives of "Babylon the Great" "riding" the "Wild

Beast" and it "Image". It's interesting to reflect, in view of these facts, that the Catholic Church has just made

John Paul II  a "saint".  How much will the current Pope "Francis" now try to fill up the shoes of his prede-

cessor. After all, his Papacy is named after a beloved Catholic saint, " Francis of Assisi ". Why not go down

in the annals of history as a "saint" yourself ? He's surely, at least by the measure of the press he has made

has a good start. What better way to achieve that than to go for that ever elusive goal of WORLD PEACE ? Will

he ?  Only time will answer that question.

This is interesting, secular proof of religious interference. Just another stone to add to there wall of shame.

Maybe the "pope" would benefit from a bible study?

In all my reading, studying, and meditation I had not come across the statement, " riding the wild beast".But that makes perfect sense and tells me I am coming up short in my progress, in coming to a full knowledge. Being imperfect is not a big help either.

It does make me more hungry for more spiritual feast, which is a good thing. Yeah, the house cleaning can wait, the unpacking from my last job. Which was a blessing as it gives me the sorely needed money to attend the international convention! Jehovah does bless me in so many ways, that if I take time to "count the ways", it can bring me to tears.

Finding this web site is proving to be a HUGE blessing. Many Thanx, to all of you who post on here with  humble attitude!!!

Revelation 17:3 - And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet-colored wild beast that was full of blasphemous names and that had seven heads and ten horns.

I hope that helps.. or maybe I read you wrong.  :)
