I have to admit, I have always enjoyed watching the figure skating during the winter Olympics. Other than that, I'm really not interested. And I don't care who wins the figure skating, just enjoy watching it because it is very beautiful and I'm really impressed by what the skaters can do on ice. Takes alot of skill to do the things they do.

I enjoy the ice skating also but not as much as in years gone by. It seams that the skating is becoming more about the jumps than the elegance of figure skating. To me watching a skater skate around the ring building up speed to do a triple or quad axle is not figure skating or feeling the music. That's not to say that I don't like to see a jump but I don't think it should all be about the jumps or how many rotations or consecutive jumps. Just a thought from an oldie.
