We Are What We Eat

Thanks for the info Sister Lisa. It's very informative! That stuff is like a drug, you have to completely make change in everything. Mental, physical and total over do. Rehabilitation is needed just as in getting off of drugs legal or illegal. May Jehovah help those of us who need it.

Proverbs 27:11- Be wise, my son, and make my heart rejoice, So that I can make a reply to him that taunts me.

It's not just sugar. The brain needs some carbohydrates, so has receptors for them. Snag is that most of the Western Society overeats carbohydrates as well as sugar and it all gets converted to glucose in the digestion. This overloads the brain as well as the blood.

Fats on their own don't harm as badly as a sugar/carb + fat combination. So-called 'Bad cholesterol' could be dealt with in the system, but gets stickier combined with carbs/sugar that have all been converted into too much glucose that's in the blood. Latest science research says it makes the cholesterol sticky enough to stick to the arteries and too much gets to the brain.

Manufacturers can load up sugars and carbohydrates in everything as they are cheap fillers. The Western Society has long advocated lower 'bad' fat higher sugar/carb diets and we have all suffered. It is lunacy to me, but they still recommend this diet for diabetics whose system can't cope with so much carb/sugar in many countries such as here in UK - until you realise that pharmaceutical companies who make tablets for diabetes or statins and the sugar/carb/margarine industries have vested interests in not letting out the latest science/commonsense that would aid us all with better diet rather than popping pills, eating manufactured denatured products and getting sick.http://www.dietdoctor.com/diabetes#epidemic
