Other than the 3 minute video, has anyone heard anything about the decision? Due to the time change, it would've happened last evening. "Verdict in significant Russian criminal trial to be announced April 14, 2011"

Thanks so much!

I looked all around the internet this morning and didn't see anything, but now I found this. It was originally in Portuguese -

Acquittal at the head of Gorno-Altai organization of Jehovah's Witnesses Kalistratova Alexander, who tried to accuse of inciting sectarian violence, is consistent with the decision of the European Court of June 10, 2010, which stated that Russia should put an end to the violation of rights of members of this religious movement. This is stated in the report released by the press office of Jehovah's Witnesses.

This is the first deal of its kind in Russia, said in a statement. Kalistratova were accused of incitement to religious hatred and enmity. In the case of a witness was questioned in 1971.

For six months the trial was not established any evidence to justify the charges. Lawyer Viktor little woman, representing the interests of the defendant, said: "It is clear that Alexander had not committed any crime Kalistratova. Judgement issued today shows that the charges against Kalistratova and other Jehovah's Witnesses in Gorno-Altaisk absolutely unfounded and are a clear example the misuse of federal law on combating extremist activity. "

"I am grateful to the judge, because they had the courage to take such a decision - says Alexander Kalistratova .- I hope this verdict will be useful for my fellow Christians are still persecuted in Russia. It would be unfortunate if other innocent citizens of Russia have also been monitor illegal only because of religious intolerance. "

More than seven and a half million Jehovah's Witnesses in over 230 countries and territories with great interest the developments. "Our fellow believers around the world and other observers are pleased that the court confirmed the innocence of Kalistratova, - the chairman of the Steering Committee of the Administrative Center of Jehovah's Witnesses in Russia Vasily Kalin .- This victory is an important step in ensuring the protection of religious freedom. "

Remember now the Gorno-Altai City Court ended the trial when the judge issued a Marina Sokolovskaya acquittal in a criminal case against Alexander Kalistratova.

Remember the criminal case began on October 20 last year. According to the researchers, during the period October 2008 to December 2009 Kalistratova, distribution of printed material, as well as journals, have expressed extremist content, committed acts aimed at inciting hatred and hostility, humiliation of human dignity and a group people on grounds of religion, as well as members of a social group. Kalistratova actions were directed against members of other religions and their priests, religious beliefs are different from the beliefs of Jehovah's Witnesses, according to investigative bodies
