This video was awesome!

 

When we hear about traveling at the "Speed of Light" it seems incomprehensible.

We imagine "warp speed" like on Star Trek with stars flashing by.

But in this video, people would actually get "bored" going the "Speed of Light" thru the Universe!

When this trip starts from the Sun and you are speeding away from it, the trip takes

4-5 minutes just sitting waiting to get to the first planet Mercury.

It is not until you fly by a planet so fast that you realize the incredible speed you are going,

in like 2 seconds you pass by the Moon and Earth, but then a long journey to Mars.

 

What I am saying is that as incredible as traveling at the speed of light would be,

it is still very minor compared to the great vastness and distance and size

of the Universe!

And this video helps us to see this all in 45 minutes - how long it takes to cross our Solar System.

 

In fact, if you asked people if they would like to get in a ship and travel at the speed

of light across the Solar System, many would find this to be the invitation of a lifetime.

Yet in the video as you are speeding thru the Solar System, it is almost boring as there

is so much time and wait until the next planet. Likely most people will not even be able

to sit watch the whole 45min trip! And 45 minutes just takes you past Jupiter!

It then takes another 35min just to get to Saturn!

So after an hour of flying at the speed of light, you have not even left our own Solar System, wow!

I find this very interesting.
