BBC tv showed a full-length film titled The Ark.  The story of Noah and the building of the ark.  It shows you do not need too much cgi and spiritism to make a good film.  A great actor, David Threlfall, played Noah.

The story was faithful in many areas, although both the Bible and Koran were used as sources, so there were some inconsistencies.

More humans saved than the 8, another son of Noah who didn't get in the ark etc. etc.

However, it showed Noah as a preacher, as well as discussions with atheists etc. Also the argument that not all other people are bad so why should they die?   It was very good in my opinion, if you ignore the unscriptural additions.

It is on iPlayer for 28 days, but I don't know if you can get that in other countries.

Yes I saw it. .. I liked the way most of then we're scousers or from Manchester lol

Yes, the accents were fabulous.

I loved the scene where Noah was telling his wife about the message he had received. It reminded me of what sometimes happens when we try to witness to family when we first hear the truth.

"I just knew it was the Truth"

I do hope it becomes available for you dear brothers in other countries. Ignoring the glaring errors, I still found it made Noah very real and a remarkable man of faith.

Yes it wasn't bad at all. .I would love to have known where he got the wood from though with not a tree to be seen ! It was very accurate with the way people were carrying on with their lives. ...how he tried to drag his son to the ark. ..I did feel that it was over too quickly it didn't dwell on the flood it self as the next thing was they were all on dry land !!

You can't walk with God while holding hands with the Devil.
