The list of hotels for Canada Bethel is the same as the hotels when we go for our assembly in French in Toronto. I can send you the list as a PM on Sunday (it is on the wall at the Hall) or you can also get it from one of your elders in the congregation. I have an old one but the prices have gone up.

I forgot though which Brother has this info (secretary may be?)

Here is the address and phone number along with time of visits:

Hi Margaret,

Just thought of something - hope it is OK to say this!

There is that one hotel on the list (Hampton Inn) and their beds are really, really comfy. They are close to the airport but about 25mn from Bethel. They have a shuttle to and from the airport. You might want to try them???

So, why am I saying this?.... I will be at this hotel on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd July and it would be neat to meet someone from here!

Let me know if our dates match! :)

I will be at RC on the July 4 weekend .... but, since my Convention is 1138 miles from that Hotel, don't think I will make it while you are there

Actually, on the 4th, I will be already 22.000 KM away - that is half way around the world...

Well, actually, that would only be about 13 miles away .....

Now, 22,000 KM - that is another thing

I use the . because that is how it is written in French (which is the language i grew up with next to my mother tongue). It always confuses me  : when do I use , and when to use . because in school the comma was for decimal (like 3,14 is Pi or 3.14?) .  I was explained it a few times but it does not stick!

Well, it is just a language thing I guess...

Thank you for pointing that out...yes, it is over twenty thousand kilometers away :)

In ENGLISH (like on this board) the . is for the decimal place in a number - like Pi = 3.14 and the , is the separator for large numbers - like 8,000,000 witnesses

Thank you! Will try to remember that!

Well, until I forget it again... :(  Or may be I won't anymore, there is this here to go back to. Anyway, thank you!

We used to live fairly close to the Canadian Bethel (about 45 km, or so), and at times would be asked if we could put up a few visitors for a night or two. )The brother who worked at the reception desk was in our congregation and would give us a call). It was always a pleasure to be able to help.

Now we're a bit further away (100 km), and no longer have that connection.
