Oh, how heartwarming to see this!  It's good to know the brothers and sisters are being comforted and looked after.  It really brings a warm fuzzy feeling over me to see this in action - a united brotherhood, so lovely to be a part of it

What a wonderful update report!!  Apparently the Governing Body Helpers are representing Jehovah's organization too.  Brother Breaux actually went there and talked to many of the 2200 brothers and sisters in Nepal, and the local brothers are organized into a Relief committees - it is not just the efforts of those who are from other countries.  Two things really impressed me.

 

Brothers and sisters from Europe (apparently - the line was off of the map), India and Japan began to send relief supplies within 24 hours of the earthquake. The brothers worked hard not just to provide physical support, but spiritual and emotional support too.  And they had a streaming message by internet to the Nepal congregations within 9 days.

 

Second, it was so nice to see so many of the friends themselves in the update.  They are a beautiful people, and are making the best of a bad situation.   And as of that update, a sister and her two children are the only death casualties so far -sad, but we can be thankful that there weren't more.
