old question/recorders

Recommended Posts

I know this has been mentioned before but I guess I wasn't interested in the topic.

What is the best small recorder that I can put the recorder on the radio station to record the Assemblies and DC. It would have to have enough memory to hold all three days??

Thank you for being patient answering an old question again for me.

Y/S

Does that one record from FM? I looked them up and could not find anything about recording from the radio. I have been using a large bulky radio/tape recorder so I don't get all the back ground noises - just straight from the FM radio station the brothers broadcast from.

I have one called an iriver... it is an mp3 player/recorder with an FM tuner and can record off the FM band. It's old, as I have had it for about 6 years. I use it to record all assemblies and conventions. I have to charge it each night.

I tried to look it up, but obviously it is out of production. This one seems to be the current similar product...

... but I have no idea how much it costs.

Unfortunately ours does not. But if you have a mp3 player with am/fm capability you can plug it in to the recorder and it will record the talks via radio. We did that one time, but the talks came out sounding not great, so now we just sit it on a book bag and record the talks that way.

I also use an iriver h320 which is old but excellent quality for fm recording.

Sometimes they come up on ebay, but they they are going to be old tho...

Its a great idea to record them, I play mine over and over and over in the car, and find that its just about impossible to take in all the info first time round.

Every time I listen I pick up and reinforce different points. I dont relinquish it until the next assembly/convention comes around!

Nothing bad can last forever!
