How to protect your password - Important Security Information

Recommended Posts

Given the current climate regarding concerns for computer and data security, I suggest you take this message seriously. This is for your own safety and security! If your workplace has been assessed and determined to be at a low level of risk, the following method is recommended to ensure no one can see your passwords or what you're typing:

For a moderate level of risk, this method ensures no one can see your passwords, what you're typing, or which website you're visiting....

For a high level of risk, this method ensures ultimate security:

Hah! The last picture just totally made me spit out my Pepsi! :lol1: Since I use a laptop to do much of my online work, I just type passwords when nobody is around. Another thing to be careful of, is if we're typing personal and confidential information on a laptop in the public, then DON'T TYPE IT IN FRONT OF A CAMERA! Yes, there are cameras in the public, and if we're making a purchase online at a public store like Starbucks for example, then anyone could easily go back over the film and zoom in on your personal information and see what you're typing.(tu) This is one nasty world!

Boy Marcus, you can suck the fun right out of a joke!

But you're right, you can't be too careful these days. You really have to be aware of your surroundings at all times!

I would suggest forking over the extra cash for the device in photo #3. The person in photo #2 is obviously using Gmail because I can still see her screen :raspberry:

That settles it, I'm going to start marketing these things! :)

I think only Marcus would buy it.:raspberry:

For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.

You could be onto a 'nice little earner' - Save yourself a lot of hard work by just marketing the patterns to download. I'm ready with my knitting needles and wool! However, the Borg can still assimilate the security information - how do you knit an anti-Borg device?:S

PS: at Workington's shopping precinct there's an army recruiting station. There used to be a big poster outside saying:"The Army Makes Men!" and some joker had scrawled - Can you knit me one? (Jane)
