I was taught a way to speed up my tablet and phone. Access developer options (look up on Google how to access for your device) then scroll down to window animation scale, transition animation scale, and animator duration scale and turn them off. It will speed your devices up

I had "developer options" on my Nexus 10 in settings but can't find it in my Samsung Galaxy S2 Tab.  Just figured it out - you have to go to "About device" in settings and then find the build number of the device and click on it till it unlocks "developer options" for you.  I turned those sections on off for now.  You can back it down to 0.5% from 1%.
