I've noticed that some emergency agencies such as the local Police department use Twitter to broadcast emergency information. I am thinking of installing Twitter just in case it becomes a popular way to communicate emergency information.

Has anyone found Twitter to be useful for anything besides just socializing?

Very useful dear brother tortuga, i find it when I was real exhausted and just doing routinely social network sites socializing when i read some posts i become refreshed and felt peace. Nothing beats Jesus said that man cant live in bread only. But because i do my routine spiritually, havent experenced it twice as before.

All glory and praises goes to Jehovah :)
