saw this movie last night.  it was quite good.  very well made.   some of the news coverage of what people were doing after thry arrived made me think about how some of them will take place after btg goes down.   like looting etc.

I'm going to watch it on Saturday next week. Knowing myself I'll probaby discover some subliminal satanic message in it. Very interested in the movie I heard Amy Adams acting is superb.

Well this really was an excellent movie with great screenplay, acting, directing and editing (at some point I felt the editing was utter garbage, but later on I understood why it had been done the way it was).

 

If you're looking for any subliminal satanic content, you'll find it of course: the movie revolves around the "arrival" of aliens from another planet or realm and has something to do with an alternate future of course, to the beautiful reality we know will occur. The movie is about trying to get mankind to unite, but this is to be expected from a film of this genre and topic.

 

The core plot of the movie isn't about an alien arrival at all, which I found fascinating. The movie is actually about our human perception of time, particularly the present. I can't say more at this point without spoilering, but it is a mind-blowing film that goes into a complex venture into non-linear time perception from a scientific standpoint (sort of like that one with Matthew McConnaughey I suppose). It's as pointless and unbeneficial as any other Hollywood movie in the end, I suppose, but I felt I got my money's worth and I personally did not feel uncomfortable at any point during the film. And it keeps you thinking about the film for a while after.

Thank you brothers, I saw the trailer for this movie a while ago and thought it looked interesting .. I'm looking forward to seeing it!

I saw it Saturday night with my wife, we both left the theater a little confused by the movie.  We'll have to watch it again with a younger couple we know that are a lot smarter with movie story lines than we are.  LOL  Maybe they can explain it to us.  Hahahahaha
