I have a few programs other than the WTLIB that I have to run on my PC. Will this distro run - MSOffice - I use an Access Database A LOT, Starcarft (a must have! ;)) and I conduct the theo school - is there a good software package for linux that helps with the scheduling like - WINTM (www.tswintm.com) ?

Yes, I feel that it is better than MS, it is LibreOffice.

Many Windows programs will also work when you install 'Wine'. .

Wine lets you run Windows software on other operating systems. With Wine, you can install and run these applications just like you would in Windows. That's what is required to run the Watchtower Library.

I haven't had a lot of success with WINE. It seems a little "glitchy". I think I will stick with Win 7 for now. No point in emulating something when you can have the real thing ;)

It's funny because for me an operating system is of no use if it can't run the other software that I use.

I usually start with the software I want and then go from there. As to viruses - I have been running a version of windows for over 20 years and yet to have that as an issue

I love Linux too... but why "Bodhi Linux" especially? Is there a particular reason?

There are tons of different Linux distro...

edit : Hooo, E17 ! I think i get why you chose it!

>:D< Yes, it is the E17. Once you try it, there is no other way you return to Gnome.
