do all the apps(jw.org) work on it?
Needs to be easy to work with for a 85 year old grandfather.

We have had issues using Amazon products working correctly with the jw library app as well as other users too. While a nice tablet, it also has limited apps available to use. Some users have had no issues. I would recommend another tablet for using the JW App. It's  my view, but as someone who has had issues and switched to a Samsung, which I have never had an issue with it! What ever you choose, add an extra memory card to the device!

There is a way to add google play store and add the Android JW library app. I was able to do it easily using a YouTube tutorial. Hubby and I have used kindle fire 8 for a year and love the reliability and the parental controls available.

Costco has the 10.1 inch Samsung Tab A on sale for $169.00, it includes a 32g card. I bought two of them for my wife and I.

Glad it works for you, but it may not be as easy for an older user as that was what they were looking for. I know of those methods too but have chosen to go with a more efficient direction.
