Christian jukebox (good clean music to listen to)

Another great artist that may likely be resurrected. Kenny Rogers just recently passed away at 81. I remember a period of about 15 years when it seemed like KR always had a hit song. I think I heard he had 24 #1 songs. Here’s one of them.

one of my favorite songs for the past 50 years. Love how Lightfoot’s voice fits the sentiments in the song. Great sound, never gets old.

if you could read my mind.  Gordon Lightfoot :headphones:

May this be Love - Robert Williams - This is a cover of the classic Jimi Hendrix song "May this be Love" (aka "Waterfall") that was released on The Jimi Hendrix Experience debut album, Are You Experienced. Musicians are Robert M. Williams (lead and rhythm electric and acoustic guitars and Musical Director); Dave Beegle

@Lee49 I absolutely LOVED that Hendrix album! My favorite was third stone from the sun. “I don’t live today” and “love or confusion” are definitely underrated songs from that album.

Here’s an old one I almost forgot about. It was a remake of an old Burt Bacharach song.

This group called “Smith”, took it up a notch. I like it:coffee:  Baby it’s you

When he sings about his "lover," I substitute a word in my mind, that we would find less objectionable, namely, "girlfriend." I really like his soulful style of singing, much like Teddy Swims.

Please look up the lyrics or listen to a song before posting. He said something inappropriate at the 2 minute mark 🙁
