I listened to it and was blown away.

Here is a great performance from Peter Frampton Live in Detroit 1999, the whole show is awesome! He used to be in Humble Pie who did this song in 1971. The man with Peter Frampton is the very talented Bob Mayo who died at age 56 in 2004. Listen to Do you feel like we do and you will hear the part Bob Mayo on the keyboards Bob Mayo!

Very underrated group. I just love it when bands sound just as good live as their album version.

Had to repost this 😊

The Hebrew word cushi or kushi is an affectionate term generally used in the Bible to refer to a dark-skinned person of African descent.

My wife was watching a Hallmark series called 'The Way Home" when I heard this song playing. I came out and said hat a great song by Cat Stevens from 1974. In my opinion one of the greatest songs of all-time musically and lyrically about the brevity of life. Here are they lyrics to the song:

Oh very young
What will you leave us this time
You're only dancing on this Earth for a short while
And though your dreams may toss and turn you now
They will vanish away like your daddy's best jeans
Denim Blue fading up to the sky
And though you want him to last forever
You know he never will
(You know he never will)
And the patches make the goodbye harder still
Oh very young
What will you leave us this time
There'll never be a better chance to change your mind
And if you want this world to see a better day
Will you carry the words of love with you
Will you ride the great white bird in together
And though you want to last forever
You know you never will
(You know you never will)
And the goodbye makes the journey harder still
Oh very young
What will you leave us this time
You're only dancing on this Earth for a short while
Oh very young
What will you leave us this time

One of the greatest groups with incredible harmony was the Hollies. There name was inspired as a tribute to the late Buddy Holly. This is one of my favorite Hollies songs as it uses a steelpan for a solo in part of the song. This was the first song to do that in pop music. Song was recorded in 1967!

Do you like it?

They were launched by the Italian TV show (Rai 1) 'Ti lascio una canzone' in 2009, where they got to know each other and sang separately. Then one day TV writer and director Roberto Cenci had the idea of creating and forming the group, first 'Il Trio' and then 'Il Volo', and here's the result.

Il Volo - Funiculì Funiculà y O sole mio - Ti lascio una canzone

Il Volo - Grande Amore (Italy) - LIVE at Eurovision 2015 Grand Final

Il Volo - L'amore si muove (Videoclip)

Il Volo - Capolavoro (Official Video - Sanremo 2024) - YouTube

I'm not able to access the video. Could you state the name of the song. Maybe it is not accessible from this part of the world. Thanks

Sorry for being so slow to respond. The b&w live version does not feature the steelpan drum that make the song unique. The Hollies perform Carrie-Ann. Great harmonies!

The steelpan was added but was not being played live, that's why they have those looks on their faces.

Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues sings the Don McLean song 'Vincent" about the artist Vincent Van Gogh. From the 1989 album Classic Blue.

I know this is not a music video, but here is an incredible performance by Leonard Nimoy (Mr.Spock) in a one man show where he portrays Vincent Van Gogh's brother Theo, recounting his brothers memories.

One of best songs originally released in 1975 by 10CC out of England. Great lyrics and music about not being in love, but in actuality you are deeply in love.

One of the great songs Chicago put out from their debut album in 1969 called
"Questions 67 & 68." Great intro, Peter Cetera and Robert Lamm nails the vocals. The first 30 seconds of the intro are so powerful, you realize you're listening to a great song! What's interesting is the line "Questions 67 & 68" is the ending line.

If you have not listened to much Chicago before the 80s you are missing out on a pounding, gritty in your face band with a few slower songs now and then. They turned into a pop band in the 80s. Bands need change to stay relative. Some changes are good, some not so good. I never cared for the 80s and beyond version of Chicago.

Here is another good song from that debut album that was written by Steve Winwood & Jimmy Miller. Great percussion intro with Terry Kath tearing it up with his Fender Telecaster.  The song is called "I'm a Man".  Awesome drum solo in middle and then Terry Kath comes in again with that Fender! Great bass intro on the song by Peter Cetera!

Not everyone is a fan of Leo Sayer. I like his singing and songs, my wife not so much. I remember when this song came out, my friend Wendell and I were riding with a witness couple up to Seattle to watch the Washington Huskies play. They didn't like the song either! To me it's a good part of my childhood!
