One of my favorite rock singer, David Gilmour. My favorite Pink Floyd song.

 

 

Mark Knopfler, one of my favorite lead guitarist. He’s mellowed since he was with “Dire Straits.”  The song is about the foolishness of war.

I like the sound. Funny,...no blondes in this group. :shrugs:

 

 

I like the fast version better. But I try not to compare them, just enjoy both.

When I was very young and started listening to music on the radio, this was one of my favorite songs.

It’s fun singing it with another person. One singing lead and the other backup. :lol:

 

 

Sounds as good now, as it did back then.
