Here’s an oldie. Great sound,  great band. But they could only come up with one hit. But it was a good one. The brass is awesome.

Vehicle.    The ides of March

There’s been a few other very good versions of this classic

but none like Al Kooper ...IMHO. :coffee:

He was the founder of Blood swear & Tears. This song was on their debut album. I loved it the moment I first heard it.

If you’ve never this before....do yourself a favor before you hit that play button and put your headphones on first and turn it up. The instrumentation is awesome.:headphones:

One of our brothers was in the group as well. I can’t think of his name right now but I think he played a wind instrument.

I Love you more than you’ll ever know.    Al Kooper and BS&T

Here another great version of “I love you more than you’ll ever know,  byJoe Bonamassa and Beth Hart. Watch Joe tear it up in the 2nd half right down to the end.

If you’re into percussion instruments you’ll love this. These guys burned a lot of calories with this song. If you can listen to this without moving, I’ll buy you diner. Of course you’ll have to come to Boston. :eat:

I think they called it soul sacrifice because it reminds me of a native tribe doing their dance with bongos playing. Great drum solo too.
Santana

I’m familiar with this song. I posted it on page 1. This version is really intense. Santana is one of my top 5 guitarists.

Wishing You Were Here -   Leonid & Friends (Chicago) The first time I heard this group I thought they were pantomiming Chicago, they are that good, every song they play is spot on!They also play Earth Wind & Fire songs, amazing talents from Ukraine/Russia  - https://www.pennlive.com/entertainment/2019/07/how-the-whim-of-a-moscow-music-producer-created-a-chicago-cover-band-made-of-russians-leonid-friends.html  ( I'm aware that Pjdriver commented on this in a prior post)
