JW language app problems

I just switched phones yesterday to a Galaxy Note 8, and when I got everything installed and tried to fire up the JW language app it's giving me a whole lot of headache.

 

There is absolutely no content available, and when I had the app on my last phone I had downloaded all of the material with no problem. At this time I am showing nothing available to download, and cannot figure out what the problem is. I've never had a problem with any of the society's apps until now, but was wondering if anyone else with this particular phone, or even a different phone has had an issue with this?

 

I put a couple screenshots of what I am looking at, and cannot get it to do anything else.

I wonder if it has something to do with the Play Store update for the library app..After the last update to fix bugs of the one before, videos would not play offline! The brothers just now fixed that! Maybe check and make sure the jw library is updated, then try deleting your language app and re-installing it...or...look for an update to the language app! Might help..hope so!

I just opened my Language app and set up Spanish as my secondary language.  It downloaded the program.  I selected a video, downloaded and played it.  So mine is working.  My version is 2.6.6.133  what is the version you are using?

That's what I was thinking maybe. Last night I bit the bullet, and just did a factory reset on the phone. Thankfully that took care of it. I'm glad times have changed, and the phones now reset some of your preferences and everything, but now I get to stare at my phone the rest of the day trying to get everything back to the way it was. I'm just glad after resetting it that it worked this time, instead of the same problem again.
