So, does anyone know about this book? It's a book which tries to scientifically explain that humans are not evolving and have never evolved, but that all mutations are always negative and that over time humans have become more imperfect over time.

2nd Law...

 

I have discussed this with evolution people before,  it usually comes down to the definition of a closed system...

 

They say that the Earth is not a closed system because of the solar cycles and various things impacting the Earth.

 

I have argued that it is a closed system because the laws of thermodynamics(3rd) specifically states that the universe is a closed system and so any system within that closed system should be considered closed.

It's a dead end argument and I know that,  it's usually used so I can work the conversation around to be more productive.

Don’t know of the book but the video sure is compelling! How can ANY bio- physicist argue with the findings on the structure, function and historical degredation of the human genome - after all, it’s only what our creator has been telling us from the Bible over several thousand years now. . . And He should know. . ,!!! ( They all died because they had all sinned and fell short of the glory of God.)

Well now. I had to peek and see if this topic made any sense to me. Now, if you will quietly excuse me...

Well, I just viewed the video by Dr. John Sanford and it made perfect sense to me. He is basically saying that, whereas science previously supported the “ bottom up” theory ( evolution over billions of years starting from some primordial soup. . ) study of the human Genome clearly shows the opposite! It shows that our genetic code is in fact, deteriorating from perfection at a rate of between 5 & 10% per generation. This in turn means that “perfection” has to be no more than several thousand years ago and has been a “top down” process.

This is exactly as the bible tells it. I also found it interesting that he said ALL BioPhysicists are of the same view - irrespective of whethe or not they came to the same conclusion about God. Dr. sanford said that even if we could EVER come to understand the complexities of the human genome enough to identify the degredation problem, we would never be able to correct it. Our only hope is through the ransome provided by Christ, otherwise in so many more generations, humans will die out through the sheer volume of inherited imperfection - fascinating!  Matt: 24:22 Unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved. . . ??
