I wonder if the bible only means natural earthquakes or does it include man caused earthquakes? Such as the ones here in the Youngstown area with the fracking.

It's been freaking a lot of people around, but I am sure that people from CA hearing them here complain about a 4.0 are LAUGHING!!!!!!!

When we (Oklahoma) experienced a 5.6 magnitude on Nov 6, 2011 everyone at the lounge was terrified. My husband looked at me and grinned and said "this is childs play isn't it?"--It certainly is perspective in this case. We were residents of LA for the Jan 17, 1994 earthquake of 6.7 (Northridge earthquake) we were living along that faut line in San Fernando Valley.. Our apartment complex that we managed was condemed. The neighbors bathtub came through the wall of our dining room pushing our table and buffet into the kitchen. When you look at the two numbers 5.6 vs 6.7 there does not look like a significant amount of difference on paper but to live through it...I was told from a seismologist that for every 1/10th of a decimal it is significantly stronger like 10 x 10=100, 10x10x10 =1000 between a richeter scale 5.0 or 6 or 7--so while a 5.7 made us go _what was that? a 6.7 made us go "why is our neigbors bathtub in our dining room? Everyone--even newscasters kept talking about all the earthquakes that followed. It drove my husband nuts. There aftershocks not earthquakes! Any movement of the earths crust that occurs along the same path and is less of a magnitude is an aftershock not another earthquake! That was one of the lessons living in LA taught us.

I was listening to the National Public Radio and they talked about the earthquakes around Youngstown Ohio that are being caused by the "fracking" where they are pumping water into the ground to push oil and gas to the surface and the waste water is then shipped and pumped into the ground in another place and they have been having earthquakes because of it in places they never had them before. Another case of "man ruining the earth".
