Thank you. That is most interesting. I wonder how many and which states voted YES?

 

If Russia were to follow this the persecution of JWs there would have to end and we would have to be recognized again.

Plan ahead as if Armageddon will not come in your lifetime, but lead your life as if it will come tomorrow (w 2004 Dec. 1 page 29)

It says in one of the two first links that the resolution was passed without vote which means there was a consensus of the general assembly, not the same as unanimous, but where any states that contested it didn't speak up.

When I read this resolution I just keep thinking “whenever it is you are least expecting it.” Right now we’re waiting for the U.N. to ban religion... and satan possibly knows that. Instead the U.N. just upped and did the opposite, encouraging the world to embrace and protect freedom of religion and its places of worship... What a great way to lull people to sleep and make religion think she’s queen with no issues to worry about....till boom.
