Suspicious Death in My Little City of Michigan

Not much more news than found in the article below. Still being investigated.

 

Unconfirmed, I learned from a sister that it’s actually a homicide. But until that’s been confirmed below is all the information actually known.

A suspicious death is being investigated in Munising.

The Munising City Police Department says that at about 8:00 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to a report of a 58-year-old unresponsive man at his home in Munising.

Alger County EMS responded shortly after, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Multiple witnesses say the investigation is focused on a home on the 300 block of W. Munising Avenue.

The Munising City Police Department says it's currently investigating this as a suspicious death. 

Police did not say if they have a suspect in the investigation or if anyone is in custody.

Officers were assisted by detectives from the Michigan State Police, Michigan State Police Crime Lab and deputies from the Alger County Sheriff's Department. 

The investigation is in its early stages. The victim's name has not been released. 

More information is expected to be released as the investigation progresses and appropriate notifications are made.

The Michigan State Police crime lab is part of a death investigation in Munising.

According to the Michigan State Police, the crime lab from the District 8 Headquarters in Marquette was called to the City of Munising Thursday night to investigate a death.

No further information has been released as of 3:30 a.m. Friday.

MSP says the Munising City Police Department is the lead agency in the investigation. Munising police have not released any details.

Multiple witnesses say the investigation is focused on a home on the 300 block of W. Munising Avenue.

What is amazing to me, is unless a spiritual member of our family is involved, what a wonderful place you live in. This area, and, it’s rural, there is either an unexplained death, (usually not a peaceful one) or a murder trial, or even more then one going on in our area. 

Life is cheap with some elements of society. 

Your news, although tragic, if it is extremely abnormal...good news, bad news sort of thing.

I want to age without sharp corners, and have an obedient heart!
