Jehovah’s Witness receives bloodless heart valve repair at MercyOne Siouxland

This type of news is always cool to hear. 

 

In 1988 my Grandpa had a triple bypass and had a third of his heart removed without a blood transfusion.  The surgery was in Seattle, WA.  He did the best out of 10 people, we believe because he was the one who didn't have blood.  Also, he left the hospital after six days, most people would have been in the hospital for two or three weeks.

 

He had a third of his heart removed because it was diseased, heart disease is hereditary in his family.
