I got over my fear of spiders by reasoning on something ... you see ... I LOVE crabs and lobsters, both to watch and to eat ... and when you look at how Jehovah designed those, they are made up very similarly to spiders ... I watched an African Tribe eat roast Tarantula once, and I thought, well there isn't much difference to us eating Lobster is there?

LIke snails, we eat oysters and clams etc., same thing but land dwelling that is all.

THAT BEING SAID - I'd probably not choose to have a crab crawl all over me, same with spiders.

<p>"Jehovah chooses to either 'reveal' or 'conceal' - cherish what he reveals and be patient with what he conceals."

Tarantulas Rarely Bite (And Other Facts About the Friendly Spiders)

Why Tarantulas Should Inspire Fascination, Not Fear

I’ve caught Arizona Blondes ( the Tarantula) with my bare hands ( they are never known to bite ) .

Cobalt Blue tarantula. A beautiful spider about five inches long (including the legs).

Unfortunately, it's a very aggressive and fast spider, an expert escape artist with a painful, venomous bite.

People have described this spider as "psychotic", "nervous", and "high-strung" ... but think,  they are likely just afraid of people

Daydream -

Scientists have discovered that daydreaming is an important tool for creativity. It causes a rush of activity in a circuit, which connects different parts of the brain and allows the mind to make new associations.

Oh, all the creatures that roam in and out of our openings, mostly while we sleep...

One reasons we have cats on our bed.

Personally, I love all of Jehovah's creations - including spiders.

In their proper place, of course.   They make excellent fly traps, but then I feel sorry for the flies!

Frankly, we need God's kingdom when we will have all insects (and all animals) in loving subjection as Jehovah originally purposed:

Genesis 1:28

New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures (Study Edition)

28 Further, God blessed them, and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many, fill the earth+ and subdue it,+ and have in subjection+ the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving on the earth.”

Modern man with all his accomplishments can't even get the tiny mosquito in subjection!

Beautiful - and you are probably correct.   Being an organic gardener I have found most aggressive species do not attack humans unless they fell threatened - fleas and mosquitos are an exception - in fact they directly disobey God's law on blood.

On our property the most aggressive species is the fire ant!    However, once they get used to our gardening around their nests and realize we will not harm their nest - they settle down.

Once at our Kingdom Hall when I was gardening there was a diamond back rattler in the flower bed.   I kept my distance and gardened around him as he watched (or smelled) my every move.    The rattle snake did not feel threatened nor did he threaten me.

Thanks for handling that snake a right! Even in the Truth far to many of the friends will disregard Jehovah’s will that we let such things live if we at all can do so.  Some will even disregard mans laws on the matter. Meanwhile at Bethel Jehovah’s Organization is actively protecting Ratrlesnakes in NY.
