I did not see it.  But I own on DVD which I ordered A Woman Called Moses with Cicely Tyson which came out in 1978 made for TV in two parts.  About the life of Harriet Tubman.  She really did come to be called Moses.

A friend of mine who saw both movies said that Harriet didn't show how difficult it was for her to escape.

I want to watch it. I just wonder how accurate it is.

I watched an incredible documentary on Amazon Prime called, "Harriet Tubman- They Called Her Moses".  Their description of the faith and personal relationship she had with God was remarkable. Highly recommend this 45 program.

Wow. It’s got to be hard to have faith in God when you had to go through the horrors of slavery and see so many others go through it.

The Hebrew word cushi or kushi is an affectionate term generally used in the Bible to refer to a dark-skinned person of African descent.

That's why it sorta blew my mind... even the way the documentarians talked about it - they were so respectful and admiring of her incredible faith.
