Amazon fire hd and kindle e reader(urgent response pls)

Hello brothers

 

Need a urgent guidance.

 

 

(1)Does jwlib work on Kindle fire?

 

(2)If no can I download epub version of watch towers and oclm and read them on this tab?

 

(3)Can I do the same with kindle readers?

 

(4)Are these available in Australia?

(Fire is not available in India.)

 

Pls give your answers at the earliest.

I do not have a Kindle.  However, on the home page of JW.ORG (at the bottom) you can click on JW Library and it takes you to the download menu.  There are four icons. Windows, Apple and Android are first.  But at the bottom is Amazon.  When you click that, it takes you to the Amazon website and they offer the JW Library as a download.  So if it is available from them (they make the Kindle) it must work on a Kindle.

 

There used to be a brother in our hall that used an older Kindle reader.

I have some Fire 8 HD (8th -latest and 7th previous version) and they both run JW Library well. However the resources of both devices are pretty weak. The good news is that with the 8th and 7th gen can take up to a 256gb micro sd card. You get a good value for the price but again its weak on resources- ram and processor .

What's my idea is

 

To download epub version and use it on the Kindle fire to prepare meetings.

So do you think the ram and processor will affect it?

I've never done that with my kindles. i guess it could work. Just don't overtax the limited tablet resources.

I do not think jwpub files take up much more room than epub files do, so where would the advantage be?  The JW Library allows the close interaction between the meeting parts.

 

A PDF file would be a lot smaller.
