Developing super El Nino contributes to floods in the US.

 

It's supposed to make the upper Midwest hot and dry. Most of Wisconsin and Minnesota and the Dakotas are in drought, and most of Michigan is dry.  Ogle, Boone, Winnebago and Stephenson counties in Illinois close to Chicago are dry.

Most of the US as a whole is pretty darn dry.  The bottom of the Great Lakes to the Ohio Valley to upstate New York to the lower Missouri Valley is the only large area with very little to no dry areas.  California doesn't have much drought but it has a lot of dry.

The Earth is soon going to exceed the safe temperature threshold agreed upon by the world in the 2015 Paris climate accord.

 

You know how villains in movies and television shows try to hold the world hostage by saying things like, "Give me money or I'll destroy the world!" 

 

In real life, it's billionaires saying, "I need to destroy the world so that I can make money. No ransom, I'm just going to do it."

 

Destroying the future survivability of humanity and most other species of this planet, so that you who are already wealthy, can be just a little bit more wealthy. I'm not sure "evil" is a strong enough word to describe it.

It’s slightly off topic but I agree. I’ve seen AI developers talk about the dangers of AI and yet they continue. There are no safeguards in place.
The reason it is still part of this topic is because of the destruction of the ecosystems caused by the data centers.

They are rushing towards annihilating themselves.  You’d think Satan would still want humans around to worship him but he seems intent on causing as much havoc as possible. 

In the end it’s no different than any other destructive acts caused by mankind. “Acceptable losses” have been part of war commentary for generations.  As if the five people taken out here and there don’t matter. As if even the soldiers themselves don’t matter!

It’s all disgusting and it’s got to go.
