JW.org Inbox on ihone

Recommended Posts

This question is for elders and servants who have and use their jw.org inbox on a device. I have had the hardest time getting it to work on my iphone. It works fine in outlok on my ipad, it worked for a while on my phone, but recently stopped working, now I get regular emails from outlook telling me that my email is blocked. I have tried a few other email apps, but they are never able to log in. Any ideas?

Br. Vincent.  Use a different browser than Safari for this option. I used Chrome.

If your login works (in general), you should login as normal. Go to the Inbox tab when logged in. You can follow the 4-step instructions as to how to login to the inbox. Click on the bar right below that says go to your inbox.  It should take you there. You now should see your Inbox mail.

At the top right side of the page (in Chrome) you will see an icon the looks like a sheet of paper with an "up" arrow.  Select this icon and a page should come up that shows where you  want this "sign-in" to be shown or stored or remembered.  If you scroll up to the bottom of the printed list, you will see the words "request a desktop site".  If you choose this, an icon will be placed on your Apple "home page".

This system uses the "lite" version app which is Outlook Web Access or OWA not the regular commercial Outlook program.  Just click on the OWA icon and you are taken to your Inbox.  I have made this desktop icon with the Dolphin browser as well.  I just can't seem to get Safari to work this way.  Give it a try.  Otherwise just access the Inbox through your regular login credentials each time.

Thanks Brother, I have no issues using it in chrome, but I would like to have it on my phone so I can easily access it if something urgent comes through.

Just make the OWA apple icon on your Iphone home page (as described).  I have the icon on my iphone Xs Max running IOS13.3 and I use it every day.  Once the icon is put on the desktop, even Safari should be able to reach it,
